Managed Secureframe for Oklahoma

Secureframe consultants for Oklahoma companies: SOC 2, breach safeguards and the 2027 privacy law

Truvo Cyber offers managed Secureframe to companies in Oklahoma City, Tulsa and across Oklahoma, delivered by our consultants in the US and Canada. Two Oklahoma laws affect a security program now: the amended breach notification act, in force since January 1, 2026, which rewards documented safeguards, and SB 546, the state's first comprehensive privacy law, which takes effect January 1, 2027. The full service is described on the managed Secureframe services page.

  • SOC 2 audit readiness inside the Secureframe account you own
  • Risk assessments, training and incident response evidence that match Oklahoma's reasonable safeguards
  • SB 546 privacy duties loaded as a custom framework before January 1, 2027
  • Attorney General breach notice built into the incident response plan

Oklahoma breach and privacy laws a Secureframe program should cover

Secureframe has no built-in Oklahoma framework. We load both laws as custom frameworks and map them to the SOC 2 controls you already run, so the same evidence serves the audit and the state requirements.

How managed Secureframe works for an Oklahoma company: Assess, Build, Operate

The same security lead stays with you through each audit cycle.

01

Assess

Review your Secureframe account, check which safeguards the breach act expects are documented, and whether SB 546 will apply to you as a controller, a processor or both. Output: a gap list with owners and dates.

02

Build

Connect missing integrations, load the Oklahoma custom frameworks, update the incident response plan for Attorney General notice and fix failing tests with your engineers.

03

Operate

Monitor Secureframe each business day, keep risk assessments and training current, prepare for SB 546 and manage each annual SOC 2 audit.

What an Oklahoma company holds after the Build phase

Built inside the Secureframe account you already own.

  • Secureframe health check report

  • Documented reasonable safeguards

  • Incident response plan with Attorney General notice

  • SB 546 custom framework and readiness plan

  • Published Secureframe trust center

Questions about Secureframe consulting in Oklahoma

Yes. SB 546 was signed on March 20, 2026 and takes effect January 1, 2027. It covers businesses that control or process personal data of 100,000 or more Oklahoma consumers a year, or 25,000 or more while earning over 50% of gross revenue from selling personal data, and gives consumers rights to access, correct, delete and opt out of targeted advertising, sale and certain profiling.

SB 626, in force since January 1, 2026, defines reasonable safeguards as policies and practices that keep personal information secure for the business's size and data, including risk assessments, technical and physical defenses, employee training on handling personal information and an incident response plan. A business that uses them and gives the required notice is shielded from civil penalties.

The act names no framework, so SOC 2 is not a safe harbor by name. A SOC 2 program does produce evidence for each safeguard the act lists: a documented risk assessment, security controls, security awareness training and a tested incident response plan. We keep that evidence dated and current in Secureframe.

Secureframe lists GDPR, CCPA and CPRA among its privacy frameworks, but no Oklahoma framework. Secureframe supports custom frameworks, so we load the breach act's safeguards and SB 546's duties as custom frameworks mapped to your SOC 2 controls.
